Assistant Teacher: Infants – 1 yr

Assistant Teacher Responsibilities:

• Support creativity and learning for learners ages 3 months to 1 year old
• Implement a developmentally appropriate daily schedule, including incorporation of transitions and age-appropriate learning opportunities
• Provide supervision during activities
• Assist in creating age and developmentally appropriate developmental lesson plans
• Keep the classroom neat and organized
• Provide parents with progress reports (via Learning Genie)
• Actively interact with children, demonstrating patience and warmth in all interactions
• Actively engage with families to ensure parents/caregivers are knowledgeable about the child’s program
• Work collaboratively with the lead teacher to promote child health and safety

Essential Skills:

• Caring and nurturing individual
• Understanding of Early Childhood Growth and Development
• At least three years of teaching or child care experience

Requirements (Must have one):

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Currently enrolled in an Associate’s Degree program for Early Childhood Education

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 – $18.00 per hour
