Custodian

Duties:

• Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
• Dust and wipe down surfaces, including desks, tables, and windowsills
• Clean and maintain common areas, including hallways, stairways, and elevators
• Perform buffing and polishing of floors as needed
• Assist with facilities maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs and minor repairs
• Follow established safety protocols and use cleaning chemicals in a safe manner

Requirements:

• Previous experience in custodial or janitorial work preferred
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and equipment is a plus
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if required
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
