Lead Preschool Teacher positions available in General Day Care, Head Start, 3K and/or UPK Classrooms!

Responsibilities:

  • Structure a learning environment that promotes child health and safety
  • Plan and lead classroom instruction that is developmentally appropriate and meets the needs of children
  • Actively engage with families to ensure parents/caregivers are knowledgeable about the child’s program
  • Implement a developmentally appropriate daily schedule, including the incorporation of transitions and age-appropriate opportunities
  • Create a safe, warm, and nurturing environment for students that is conducive to learning
  • Support implementation of behavior plans and/or IFSP/IEP goals, as appropriate
  • Essential Qualifications (Must have at least one)

NYS Teaching Certification B-2 or Equivalent BA in ECE (Early Childhood Education) and currently pursuing MA/Teacher certification – Study Plan Eligible – * TEACHERS WILL RECEIVE A SIGN-ON BONUS OF $3000, which will be paid after completing 90 days of employment. You can receive $1000 if onboarding is completed within the allotted timeframe of two weeks, and then the $2000 after 90 days of employment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
